10. Championship Regattas
    1. 2009: Chief Umpires' reports from 2009 Championships.
    2. 2011: fees proposals for Championships regattas (fees ex-GST)
       1. From Karapiro Rowing Inc. for the North Island Championships
       2. From Karapiro Rowing Inc. for the New Zealand Championships
       3. From South Island Rowing Inc. for the South Island Championships (see also hosting application for that regattas, which has a supporting draft budget)
       Mr Roger Milne will be attending for Karapiro Rowing Inc to speak to their proposed fees and hosting application.
       A table of the fee changes proposed and the existing fees follows. Other existing fees are: $20 entry protest, $20 race protest, $20 appeal, $5 crew change. Other existing penalties are: $40 late scratching

    3. 2011/12: Applications to host Championships regattas:
       1. From Karapiro Rowing Inc. to host the 2012 North Island Championships
       2. From South Island Rowing Inc. to host the 2011 South Island Championships
       3. From South Island Rowing Inc. to host the 2012 South Island Championships
       4. From South Island Rowing Inc. to host the 2012 New Zealand Championships
       Applications are attached to the agenda. Members' attention is drawn to the following alterations made to the standard hosting application forms supplied by South Island Rowing Inc.
       1. Paragraph 1: addition of the words "provided they do not conflict with the externally imposed rules and regulations and 'natural justice'"
       2. Paragraph 2: addition of the words "provided this does not conflict with the sponsorship arrangements in place by SIR or RNZ".
       Members are also advised in relation to South Island Championships regattas South Island Rowing has entered a sponsorship arrangement with Meridian Energy that grants Meridian the naming rights to the South Island Secondary School Championships. The Executive Committee has agreed not to contract the major sponsorship of these regattas with NZRA if South Island Rowing Inc is accepted as host of the regattas.
