NZSSRA: Members' area


Membership

According to Article 5 of the NZSSRA constitution, the following are eligible to be Members of NZSSRA:

  1. Every secondary school which is admitted to membership pursuant to the Constitution and which has paid the current annual subscription; and
  2. Every person who has been admitted as a Life Member pursuant to this Constitution.

Joining

If you represent a school that is considering joining the NZSSRA then you need to:

  1. Read Article 6.1 of the NZSSRA constitution; and
  2. Complete the School Membership Form [.pdf]; and
  3. Complete an Application for Colours [.pdf]; then
    (note: make sure you read Article 18 and check the proposed colours don't clash with existing colours)
  4. Contact the Schools Committee.

On the other hand, if you wish to nominate somebody for a life membership then you need to:

  1. Read Article 6.2 of the NZSSRA constitution; and
  2. Contact the Schools Committee.
    (don't forget you need to make your nomination at least 10 weeks before the AGM)
